Molly’s Valentine

I know I posted a video last week, and I usually try to shake things up a bit more than that. But Valentine’s Day saw major developments at our house–like, all of Molly’s dreams coming true–and it was so sweet we had to share!

Pawnote from Molly: I’ve always wanted to play with a kitty!

Pawnote from Juliean: Dogs are still stupid.

  1. Hey Danielle
Looks like you all are adjusting to your new home. How is business? Are planning your upcoming trips for this summer? The videos are really good, especially the background music. Take care, Larry

    • Hi, Larry! Molly and I are a bit scared to plan summer trips. All our winter plans were massively disrupted by a polar vortex … But we have a few ideas bouncing around. Definitely can’t wait to get out and go camping again!

Glad you enjoy the videos. Molly and Juliean do most of the work for me. Lol.

  2. I was wishing for warmer temps when a fond memory came to my rescue. Cross Creek Fl and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. This time of year the trees and bushes are beginning to bloom in north central Fl. Thought this would be of interest to you… Let me know. Can’t wait for the new video. Larry

    • LOL. Don’t tempt me with Florida. The thought has crossed my mind! Molly prefers the snow and cold anyway, but I’ll confess, blooms in Florida sound really good right now.

  3. If you get the chance to look up Cross Creek and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, you maybe interested in the setting. You’ve probably heard of her and her writings. Watch out for ticks this spring/summer while venturing out to your new park. Looks very peaceful. Larry

    • Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings — Ah! The Yearling. Of course. I keep meaning to read that. I don’t suppose you’re saying she and I have anything in common? (LOL.) Despite starting friendly relations with a herd of deer, I haven’t adopted any fawns yet.

And yes, Molly and I will have to fight the ticks pretty hard if we intend to keep visiting the deer come spring. But it’ll be worth it. It’s so peaceful there …
